Janey day on the 31st

July 31, 2008 – This is how my Thursday went on. I rushed going to school since my class is 1:30, I rode a taxi and paid 50 bucks since its already 1:15, only to realize I don’t have class. So I got too disappointed I needed some cheering up. I couldn’t find any close EDUC friend, as our next class is one thirty. So I went to Bob’s café alone, ordered some Saté Babé (READ: it’s pronounced as sat-eh Bob-e). Few minutes later, I received a text message from Janey, one of the nicest friend I ever had, asking for my whereabouts. So I invited her over, to have some coffee and to have someone to talk to about latest gossips. We had fraps and a strawberry crepe. It was fun catching up with each others lives. Oh! Before I forget, big ooohhhraah for my classmates (when I was still in the College of Nursing), who passed the Nursing Licensure Exam. *clap!*clap!*clap!*

So let me share to you some snaps I took during my sugar and caffeine rush.

Messy Equation of friendship

July 25, 2008 - Humid. Tiring. Utterly lazy day in La Salle. Days like this that would just make you go home and take a bath. Just one of the many detriments of living in a tropical country. so anyway, the whole point of the introduction is that, when days like this come I get demotivated to the 10th power. therefore, that very day - i skipped class. yes, i used the weather as an excuse. yes, i did it because 1) it's friday, anyway. 2) its tiring to look at the face of another tired student and 3) im gonna meet up with my bestie! hooray!!.. now shush. you ask too many questions just like my mom. (i love you mom :D)

so going back. i did meet up with my bestie for almost 7 years (yeah, im that patient when it comes to her abnormalities). we went to Robinson's, roam around, flirted (her fault), look for some unimaginable stuff, had fun at the toy store, check-out some laptops, went to a hardware shop and laugh and laugh and laugh like the picture below.

... then we got hungry, so we roam around again and saw an ice cream kiosk. its just another "american-like" ice cream shops. the usual four seater tables, a neon ice cream sign and the checkered apron of the waiters/waitresses. and i bet if they have enough space, they will surely add a car seat - the one you saw in old movies where protagonists feed themselves with spoonful of ice cream while they drown themselves with sweet nothings.

what is the messy equation of friendship? does it really have an equation, in order for it to survive? what does it take to endure all the obstacles and all the negative vibes of the surrounding? i believe that friendship is like cooking. it needs all the ingredients needed like trust, respect, and affection. then you mix this all together until lumps and bumps are dissolve. lacking one ingredient would be useless. for what is friendship without trust, without respect and without affection?

For almost seven years now, i havent utter my words of thanks to you. Well let me take the chance to thank you for being one of the closest, most amazing, incredibly funny and hilariously flirty friend of mine. ive learned a lot of strategies, techniques, and everything importance about the art of flirting. more than that, i just want to thank you for being there when i needed you, for lending an ear,for scolding me and most of all for loving me for who i am. they say that in a relationship there are two year-glitches to be forewarned of: the two-year glitch, and the seven-year glitch. we have already survived the two year glitch, and i know that this seven-year glitch wont do harm to us. love you bessy. my hearts and hugs and wishes of luck to everything you do. im just around.

Who knocked them down on muay thai?

Meet Moiz

The Muay Thai Grand Champion

Moiz is the recent Muay Thai Champion. He competed in Thailand about a month a go. He even knocked down the King!

Actually I was just kidding about him knocking down the king (peace! ^_^). That pic was actually taken during one of his practices. Going back, Moiz is a well travelled man. He's been to almost 27 countries (I'm not that accurate though) and he is affiliated with organizations that aims to help those you are in need. Aside from being active in sports (Muay Thai, Scuba Diving, .ETC. ) and aside from travelling, Moiz is also a politically minded person. He has meet and greet political figures, even rub elbows with them. I'll bet my favorite m&m's, he will be one of them someday. Other than all of these, Moiz is a sensitive man who loves kids.

I am single...

… but it doesn’t make me less of what couples are. I can run wildly, I can do crazy things, I can be happy like what girls with a partner do. Yes, being single may also mean that I am alone, but it doesn’t mean that I am lonely. It doesn’t make me feel bad at all. I don’t miss hugging and kissing. My happiness doesn’t depend on how many times I make out with a man, nor does it depend on how many times I cuddle and kiss. This is the path I choose for this moment. And so far I am happy. I am enjoying every moment of being single. I can go out whenever I want, I can flirt, I can drink till I drop, and I don’t have any commitments towards other people – that means I don’t have any responsibilities to tell someone where I’m at or what I’m doing.
Being single doesn’t make someone lesbian either.. that reasoning is only for the feeble minded. (And yes, I am referring to you “A”. you know who you are ^_^)

…I know myself, and I know how to live my life. If you are not comfortable with the true me, then I wont force you to stay beside me. I don’t care if you would leave, either..

of imbalanced homeostasis

My exams are over and I'm wishing I survived it with flying colors.
Although, I doubt the latter part. Taking exams when you're sick is never, ever been a good idea.
:(

tomorrow is our college acquaintance day.
(that means i'll be away from home for a day in a half)
every thing is all set. i just dont like the fact of being away from home.
on the brighter side, i could use it for soul searching and relaxation.
and hopefully i get revitalized by nature.

Coffee + French cheesecake = Good prelims

The dreaded preliminary exam is here. Ahhhh!!! deadlines here and there plus terrifying teachers trying to make students life more miserable. What's exciting is the different strategies students apply on how to survive this dreaded day. From endless borrowing of notes, photocopying transparency films, copying powerpoint files and most of all reading - as in endless reading. Advices from mentors our also taken into consideration: from MemoPlus Gold (to be taken a week before exams until the exam week), to eating sweet foods (Glucose is good for learning and memory). College life indeed is more than just being able to go home late and party and extended curfews. It's all about being responsible.

Singing Bee on a Saturday

From Council Meeting to Lunch dates to KTV...
July 12, 2008 is one of my best Saturday ever!

Finally!! After all those information overloads and more grumbling of our tummy, the meeting was adjourned. So off we (me and Rinakins) go to Robinson's to grab some fully loaded lunch @ KFC. Ahhh1!! the sweet, smell of the mushroom soup and the look of the tempting brownies. More food were munched and more laughters bursts as Jo Ann and her boyfriend, Jay, joined us.

As we were about to leave the place, a voluptuous sexy chick followed by an eye-catcher lady walked in in the restaurant. Ah! My friends when I was still in the College of Nursing. So, I let my friends Rina, Jo Ann and Jay go as I join my friends, Kristel and Mia Erickah.
