Inked Tuesday

My first ink
I got this last December 1, 2007 and seven months have passed and now I have another one. I got this after surviving my second depression. I choose this butterfly design with sun and moon on its wings because for me, it symbolizes my thirst for change day and night.
... and the lining begins!
This is the part where the pain is really unbearable. I think it is all because of the nerve endings and the bony part of the lower abdomen.
Leo is sooooo serious
This guy is really amazing and is very dedicated to his craft. And I was astounded when he said that my first tattoo artist was his student!

My new baby
I call this fairy Maribulan
My special thanks to my bro for drawing this drawing.. even though he has the slightest idea about my tattoos.
to my mom and dad: Peace!
The lining is done!
Finally, my agony is almost finished
Shading Time!
this is my favorite part!
Leo adding some finishing touches
And finally, it's done!
"Alis volat propiis, da mihi basilia mille"
Its a latin phrase but im not telling you what it means..
Time heals all wounds - literally. And that is what I'm waiting for. Hopefully it'll only take two weeks but then the healing time of a tattoo depends on the location of the ink. Nevertheless, I'm happy having this one!
And before I end my entry for this cabled-diary, this is for my critics out there...
Of Love and other demons,
Cathie
